Help with obtaining an electronic travel authorisation 🇰🇷

K-ETA South Korea / K-ETA 한국

Since September 2021, countries that are part of the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) have had the obligation to apply for a K-ETA online before taking a flight or boat to South Korea. Some countries are designated as "free-visa countries". Their citizens do not need a visa. However, they are also required to apply for a K-ETA online.

The South Korea Electronic Travel Authorization ( Korea Electronic Travel Authorization / K-ETA ) is an online electronic travel authorization that allows citizens of eligible countries to enter Korean soil for the following reasons: Tourism, visiting relatives, an event, a meeting or for professional reasons.

Since April 2023, 22 nationalities(including the French and Belgians) have been exempt from K-ETA until 2025. However, obtaining this document in advance will save you time when you arrive.
