La South Korea<\/strong>eager to stimulate its sector tourist<\/strong> and attract more visitors, has introduced measures to simplify the procedure for applying for a K-ETA<\/strong> (Korea Electronic Travel Authorization). This electronic travel authorisation now allows a wider range of tourists to enter the country without the need for a visa, ensuring a smoother, more accessible experience. New initiatives include extending the languages supported and improving services to better welcome travellers from all over the world.<\/p>\n\n
Recently, the Korean government<\/strong> has announced a series of measures designed to simplify access for foreign tourists<\/strong> to its territory, with particular emphasis on extending the K-ETA (Korea Electronic Travel Authorization) system. This electronic authorisation allows nationals of 112 countries to enter South Korea for a short tourist stay, without needing a visa. The application process, which was previously limited to English, will now be available in several other languages, making the experience much more accessible.<\/p>\n\n
Expansion of the K-ETA system<\/h2>\n\n
With the aim of attracting more visitors, the K-ETA system is undergoing a significant expansion. The Ministry of Justice<\/strong> confirmed that, in addition to English, the travel authorisation application process will now be available in Chinese<\/strong>, Japanese<\/strong>, Spanish<\/strong>, French<\/strong>, German<\/strong>, Russian<\/strong>, Vietnamese<\/strong>, Thai<\/strong>, Malay<\/strong> and Indonesian<\/strong>. This initiative aims to revitalise the tourism sector by extending the linguistic scope of this procedure, making it easier for as many travellers as possible.<\/p>\n\n
